To Whom It May Concern,
Since September 16th, after the murder of a 22-year-old woman, Mahsa Amini, by the so-called morality police, Iranians have been protesting for freedom, human rights, minority rights, and women’s right to self-expression.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has responded with a lethal reaction, killing hundreds of its citizens nationwide with military artillery and arresting thousands.
The ruthless suppression of Iranian demonstrators has reached entirely new heights.
Two detained protesters, Mohsen Shekari and Majid Reza Rahnavard, were put to death on December 8th and 12th, respectively, without going through a fair trial, having access to independent counsel, or having the option to ask for an appeal.
The IR regime is about to execute hundreds of people.
Members of the German parliament, such as Ye-One Rhie, Carlos Kasper, and Martin Diedenhofen, were the first to decide to be political sponsors of several arrested protestors who were given death sentences. Politicians’ backing is vital. When elected officials publicly defend a political prisoner, more attention is attracted to their fate. The media cover their activism, and the attention serves to safeguard innocent prisoners.
We need your help, and we urge you to act quickly to stop this massacre. Your actions can include, but are not limited to, the following:
– Announce your political sponsorship or advocate for the prisoners in imminent danger [1], [2].
– Publicly call on all nations to recall their ambassadors from Tehran and to remove all the regime’s diplomats.
– Declare all regime associates, including the IRGC, and the Supreme Leader Khamenei, as terrorist organizations and impose swift sanctions against them.
– Demand that UN specialists keep a close eye on the situation and urge the authorities to take extraordinary measures to halt executions.
I appreciate you taking the time to read this important, sensitive message and offer your support to save lives and the values Iranians are fighting for.
Sincerely,

A cry for help from the father of #MohammadMehdiKarami, 21 y.o Karate champion whose wrongful death sentence was affirmed today in the Islamic Republic’s Supreme Court. They may take his life any minute. pic.twitter.com/EuEqP3pBg2
Mohammad Mehdi was kidnapped on November 5th under the pretext of the death of a Basij Crackdown Force.
He has been sentenced to death by a Revolutionary Court in Karaj, Alborz province. The sentence was issued despite severe torture indications and forced confession.
Mehdi faces the death penalty in a grossly unfair sham trial without due process.
When he received his death sentence, he called his dad: “I received my sentence! It’s execution! Don’t tell mom.“
The father of #MohammadMehdiKarami says his son was not allowed to have a chosen attorney, and the one designated by the Iranian govt doesn’t even answer his phone. His family asked Mr. Aghasi to represent him in court, but the court refused him as his lawyer. Mohammad and dozens of other protesters are tried without their lawyers.
He reiterates that his son is innocent, but their voice is not being heard.

To Whom It May Concern,
The Iranian people have been protesting in support of freedom, human rights, minority rights, and women’s rights to self-expression since September 16th. The Islamic Republic of Iran’s (hereafter referred to as the regime) has responded with a deadly crackdown; using military artillery to kill hundreds of their citizens across Iran. Hundreds have been murdered and thousands arrested, tortured, or raped. This includes at least 60 children under the age of 17 who got killed in the last 3 months.
The brutal crackdown on Iranian protesters has entered a whole new level. On December 8th, Mohsen Shekari, one of the imprisoned protestors, was executed without due process, having access to an independent lawyer and the chance to request an appeal. Majidreza Rahnavard is the second protester to be executed on December 11th, and the first to have his body displayed publicly, as the regime is seeking to spread fear to crush the national uprising. These two victims are not the only ones. There are hundreds who are about to receive the death penalty by the regime. (More information about protestors who are sentenced to death) [1], [2].
The regime officials have made it clear that they intend to execute several more to set an example. Innocent lives are being taken as scare tactics by a murderous regime and they will not stop unless they are forced to [3]. Today can be the last day for Saman Seydi (aka Saman Yasin) and Mahan Sadrat Madani if you do not do anything.
Norbert Röttgen, Ye-One Rhie, Carlos Kasper, and Martin Diedenhofen, members of the German Bundestag, were announced to be political sponsors/advocates for a few of the arrested protesters who were sentenced to death. The support of politicians is enormously important. When elected representatives publicly stand up for a political prisoner, more attention is drawn to a fate. Their advocacy is picked up by the media and this publicity is protection for innocent detainees.
We, Iranians, urge you to take prompt action to stop this massacre. This includes:
Step forward for political sponsorships/advocacy for the imprisoned prisoners whose life is in grave danger.
Publicly urging all countries to expel all the regime’s diplomats and recall their ambassadors from Tehran.
Impose immediate sanctions against Supreme Leader, Khamenei, as head of the regime and all entities associated with him and designate him as a terrorist entity.
Asking the United Nations to take immediate action to respond to human rights violations against the innocent prisoners in Iran. We demand the UN experts to monitor the situation closely and call on authorities to engage special procedures to stop execution.
Thank you for your time and attention to this timely sensitive matter!
